How to format compliance data in PDF files automatically
Scan PDF compliance files with Compliance Lens, Agreement Lens and Bylaws Reviewer, then draft the gaps with Compliance Drafter, all on your own Windows PC.
Skills in this bundle
Agreement Lens
Deterministic red-flag clause scan for agreements and NDAs (level-filtered) + clause structure + risk score. (Action Co-pilot: generates next-best-actions (actions.json), follow-up tasks and calendar reminders on top of the analysis — what to act on today.)
Agreement Drafter
Agreement Drafter via runtime LLM orchestration (focus x detail params; NL->structured artifact). (Action Co-pilot: generates next-best-actions (actions.json), follow-up tasks and calendar reminders on top of the analysis — what to act on today.)
Bylaws Reviewer
Deterministic bylaws review (mandatory-clause checklist per Company Law). (Action Co-pilot: generates next-best-actions (actions.json), follow-up tasks and calendar reminders on top of the analysis — what to act on today.)
Compliance Lens
Deterministic compliance red-flag clause analysis (severity filter + structure + score). No LLM. (Action Co-pilot: generates next-best-actions (actions.json), follow-up tasks and calendar reminders on top of the analysis — what to act on today.)
Compliance Drafter
Compliance Drafter via runtime LLM orchestration (focus x detail params; NL->structured artifact). (Action Co-pilot: generates next-best-actions (actions.json), follow-up tasks and calendar reminders on top of the analysis — what to act on today.)
Compliance Maestro
Compliance Maestro via runtime LLM orchestration (focus x detail params; NL->structured artifact). (Action Co-pilot: generates next-best-actions (actions.json), follow-up tasks and calendar reminders on top of the analysis — what to act on today.)
Point Nexus Runner at your PDF and let Compliance Lens or Agreement Lens do a deterministic scan: you get clause structure, a severity-filtered red-flag list and a risk score straight away. Bylaws go through Bylaws Reviewer against the mandatory-clause checklist, missing sections are written by Compliance Drafter or Agreement Drafter, and Compliance Maestro locks the whole sequence into a repeatable flow. The scanning and review steps use no LLM and run on your own Windows 10/11 x64 machine, so the PDF is never uploaded.
- The three review skills - Compliance Lens, Agreement Lens and Bylaws Reviewer - are rule-based and LLM-free, so the same PDF yields the same clause structure and score every run.
- The two drafting skills - Compliance Drafter and Agreement Drafter - take a focus (standard, brief or detailed) and a detail level, and leave unsupplied facts as open items instead of inventing them.
- Compliance Maestro chains scan, review and drafting into staged, repeatable runs so you stop re-explaining context at every handoff.
- Runs inside Nexus Runner 1.0.10 on Windows 10/11 x64 only; scanning and review finish locally and the file stays on the machine.
- Each skill costs 3 to 5 Nex per run. The free tier gives 200 Nex per month, reset at the start of each month; Pro is 49 CNY per month with 3000 Nex, Enterprise 299 CNY per month with 50000 Nex.
What this workflow actually does
Instead of asking one model to read a whole PDF and paraphrase it, the work is split in two. Anything a rule can decide goes to a deterministic skill; only the writing goes to a drafting skill. Compliance Lens scans compliance documents for red-flag clauses, Agreement Lens does the same for agreements and NDAs, and both return clause structure, severity-filtered red flags and a risk score. Bylaws Reviewer checks bylaws item by item against the mandatory-clause checklist from the Company Law and reports what is missing plus a completeness score. None of these three call a model, so their output is reproducible and traceable back to the clause. Compliance Drafter and Agreement Drafter use the runtime model to produce structured drafts for the gaps, and Compliance Maestro stages the pipeline. Skills come in two kinds only, skill and agent; all six here install from the marketplace.
Five steps from PDF to structured output
How the three approaches compare
| MCP Nexus | Manual work | Generic cloud AI | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Red-flag detection | Compliance Lens and Agreement Lens filter by severity with fixed rules, so repeat runs match | Page-by-page reading; what gets missed depends on the reviewer and the day | One prompt, one answer - ask twice and the list can differ |
| Bylaws completeness | Bylaws Reviewer walks the mandatory-clause checklist item by item and returns gaps plus a completeness score | Ticking a checklist by hand | Usually a summary paragraph with no fixed checklist behind it |
| Where the file goes | Scan and review finish inside Runner on your machine; the PDF is not uploaded | Files circulate internally, controlled by policy and people | The whole document has to be uploaded to a third-party server |
| Chaining steps | Compliance Maestro stages scan, review and drafting into a repeatable flow | Each step is handed off by a person, and context gets dropped | Every step needs the context pasted again |
| How it is billed | 3 to 5 Nex per skill run, with 200 free Nex each month reset at month start | Billed by the hour | Billed per seat, regardless of how many documents you actually process |
Real use cases
FAQ
Are the red flags guessed by a language model?
No. Compliance Lens, Agreement Lens and Bylaws Reviewer are deterministic rule scans with no LLM, so a repeat run returns the same clause structure, red-flag list and score, each traceable back to the source clause. Only Compliance Drafter, Agreement Drafter and Compliance Maestro call the runtime model.
How much does one PDF cost to process?
Between 3 and 5 Nex per skill, depending on how many steps you run. A single red-flag scan is 5 Nex; scan plus bylaws review plus drafting plus orchestration is 18 Nex. The free tier gives 200 Nex a month reset at month start, Pro 49 CNY per month with 3000 Nex, Enterprise 299 CNY per month with 50000 Nex.
Can it handle scanned image PDFs?
Only once there is extractable text. These skills read the text layer of a document, so an image-only scan returns no clauses; convert it to a text version before running Compliance Lens or Agreement Lens.
Will the drafting skills invent facts?
They will not fill gaps with data you did not provide. Compliance Drafter and Agreement Drafter generate structured output from your focus and detail settings and mark anything unsupplied as an open item, and the result still needs human review before it is final.
Is macOS or Linux supported?
Windows 10/11 x64 only. Nexus Runner is at version 1.0.10, and once installed the skills run locally, so the scan and review steps never send the PDF out.
